Teaching Assistant / 1:1 Support

We are looking for a capable and enthusiastic individual to join our team of wonderful teaching assistants. The role will involve supporting an individual with additional needs, alongside the class teacher in improving outcomes for a child in their class and extending their learning, as well as working with small groups in the classroom. Some administrative support will also be required (photocopying etc).

The post is for 24 hours 10 minutes per week, working 5 mornings and includes an hour of lunch duty each day. This is a fixed term contract until July 2023 in the first instance.

Mid-Day Supervisory Assistant

We are seeking to employ a Midday Supervisory Assistant (MSA)  to join our friendly team. The role will involve supervising and interacting with children during lunchtime play and in the dining room. The ideal candidate will have an enthusiasm for play, making lunchtimes positive, enjoyable and safe for children.

This is a permanent post, working 6.25 hours per week (term time only) and will be paid on scale HB. This is currently £17,842, paid on a pro-rata basis for part time staff.

School Operations Manager

Due to a re-organisation within our Trust, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an individual to join Wheatfields Junior School as an Operations Manager.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the school site including health and safety, facilities management, contract management and data protection/risk management.

This is an exciting, varied role, and one which is critical in enabling the school to achieve our vision and objectives. As a result, we are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with relatable experience, within or outside of an education environment.

The successful applicant will manage operational site issues, deliver effective systems for routine maintenance, and meet all statutory compliance. They will be well organised and will effectively prioritise their time.

This role requires someone who has professional integrity, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage and communicate effectively in a wide range of situations with colleagues at all levels. This opportunity would suit anyone with a flexible, hands on approach and for the right ambitious candidate it will build great experience for progression within school leadership.
